Just weighed mine(on a crap home scale though for now) 16" x 7" Volk TE-37 with 205/45R16 Toyo T1-S tires = 29 lbs each.

Weighed a buddies BBS CH 18" x 8.5" with Yokohama Paradas 225/40R18 tires = 45lbs each.

 

no way is that accurate. my 15x7 te37's with hoosier a3so3's are 28.6 lbs. i am a new york certified weighmaster, and cann assure oyu my weights are on the money.

 

How heavy are the Hoosiers though. Race tires are usually heavier. Toyo's street tires are a pretty light tire....Also, I said it WAS on a home scale...until I can do it on a better scale. It should be in the ball park though. The rims are around 12 lbs and the tires are around 16 lbs each from the research I've done on them.

 

hoosier is the lightest dot tire available, it has fiberglass belts.

 

My 16x7 Volk Racing TE37 with Falken Azenis 215/45/16 weigh 34.00 - 34.25 lbs. each.

Hoosiers are liiiight. Actually, I couldn't believe how light they actually were when I first picked a set up a few years ago.
