Mabye this is a dumb question but does anyone know if EF9 Si's came w/ rear discs and/or Power steering? I just was curious...

 

Not sure about the EF9, but the ED9 (USDM 88-91 Si) came with rear disk brakes. No power steering.

only the 90-91 crx si's came with rear disk brakes.

You can swap rear disk brakes easy to your hatch from integras, newer civic's, or a SiR.

As of power steering, sadly no.. But however once again you can swap your steering rack out for a power steering rack.

An EF9 is an SiR, not an Si. The EF9 did have rear disc brakes and power steering, but it was never sold in North America.

If you are talking about the USDM Si hatchback (ED7), it had rear drum brakes and no power steering.

Only the '90-91 USDM ED9 (CRX Si) had rear discs. The '88-89 models had rear drums. The original poster seemed to be talking about hatchbacks though, not the CRX.

 

usdm civic si = no p/s and no rear brakes
usdm crx si = no p/s and rear brakes
jdm crx sir (ed9) = p/s and rear brakes
not sure about the civic sir (ef9)
