Default ? for people who removed front sway bar

i removed my front sway bar long ago for less understeer, and it works great. but i was removing my front wheels the other day and i noticed a lot of suspension travel when i was torqueing the lug nuts. not just camber, but caster was traveling a lot more too. does ayone else have this happening to them? i don't want my front suspension too hard (i hate understeer), but at the same time its almost like i lost a control arm because there is so much more suspension travel.
