how to paint your wheels
A week or so ago i picked up
these only to be told they were 4-114 they are 1985 prelude si rims im not 100% on that but its what i got it off of
..any who.. turns out they fit my bros teggy 4-100 i belive so it turns out they'll fit a civic .
i got them for really cheap and decided to spend some of the money i thought i would spend on the wheels on painting them I have never done any thing like this before but im pretty happy with the overall results.
first i sanded it down wiith 1000 grit sandpaper and 500 to smooth out a few nic's in the wheels. then primered it with duplicolor - white sandable primer

then waited about 30 mins after two layers of the primer
after that i finally got around to painting them :]

started out looking really clean
30 mins later another layer and they were done next step was the clear coat

the spray nossle had something like plastic jammed in it and it sprayed out drops of clear coat leaving dots of clear coat on the wheels :flamingma
mean time i painted the center caps first sanded it down then primer

then painted them lime green

waited another 10-30 mins
put them on the wheels

looks pretty good it took about 2-3 1/2 hours - random skate/eating/drinking breaks but i think i did a decent job what do you think ? oh yeah i know about the paint on the tires..it will eventually go away lol
