Default Can GSR cams support 700 hp?

I have a dart block and i'm about to get all forged internals. I bought a b16a3 head that was race ported and polished with beefy springs and aftermarket valves and retainers. This head came with gsr cams. I plan on boosting up to 30-35 psi for the track only. This will be a daily driver....no joke. I know the ITR cams are better because of the increased lift they provide, but the gsr cams should be nice for daily driving. Will the GSR cams work for around 700hp or do they crap out in the 500-600 hp range?? Other's dyno charts would be nice to see. Thanks.

not trying to rain on anyones parade, but if you're looking to make 800hp, dont you think that some properly designed aftermarket cams would help out alot more than the 'OEM cam bandwagon' ? i mean, sure, it can be done on stock cams, but maybe its a lot easier and thers more power to be made with a bigger aftermarket cam?

it seems to me the comparison would be like building a 12:1 compression small block with a bad *** intake and carb and then using an 'rv cam'

if you've got the money to build the setup....why not spend a little more for some bigger cams?

it would be a better idea. But aftermarket cams are hit or miss. Some a regrinds, some are just poorly made. I have seen skunk2 and crowler cams snap in half, while OE quality remains tried and true. Not to say OE cams wont break, but i have seen less examples of them breaking than I have seen of aftermarket cams breaking.

And As you make know, broken cams do not make for a happy valvetrain.

Personally I plan on running the CTR or ITR cams in the GSR head this summer

easy...more power for the same setup. same power with less boost

why NOT get bigger cams...if you have the means to do so?

Exactly.

You arn't giving up any amount of streetability if you move to ITR/CTR or even some slightly bigger aftermarket cams vs. GSR's, so your "but the gsr cams should be nice for daily driving" comment doesn't hold any water. Jeff Evans posted a comparison on his site between B16 and GSR cams, the GSR cams made much more low end and mid range power, and spooled the turbo quicker. I could imagine the same would happen moving to ITR cams over GSR cams, so in that case why would you sacrifice any mid range power by not running the slightly larger cams? Especially if you think this is going to be a daily driver.

Pertaining to the subject of OEM cams, how well do the stock H22 cams or the Type-S cams perform? I am in the same boat when I get my H22 and build it. I like certain OEM products, and the cams are one of them?
