Default Power of a Drag Turbo

Just want to know what a drag 3 t3/t4 57 trim .63 a/f stage 3 blade can make, my goal is 400whp, im at 300whp at 11.7# do I need another turbo for my goal? Want to know cause im planning on going full 3 inch exhaust from downpipe and that would effect me critically if I change my turbo after.

I think that with a drag Turbo kit it`s possible to make 400whp , A friend of mine on a built TypeR motor made 360whp on pump gas with a bad tune .

I have that turbo. I replaced most of other components by now but I made 375 with the drag kit and now 372 with stuff replace (same turbo though). Personally though, I would get a bigger turbo so you don't have to push that as hard. Plus this you could run a 3" exhaust from turbo back.

Well yes, everything from the drag turbo kit is replaced except the turbo and downpipe, new 2.5 pipes and a big pwr intercooler. What pressure did you have to push for 370+whp?

I just made almost 300whp with a drag manifold and drag turbonetics turbo on 8psi and good conservative tune. This was also on a bone stock JDM B18C. I think 400whp wouldnt be to hard to acheive but thats just me.

The boost controller had go to 18psi by 4000rpm then the boost trailed off to about 16psi and that is what I go 372 on....on a conservative tune. On a much more aggressive tune, I made 375@14.7psi.

Are the DRAG kits good kits? I have heard good and bad (Not like the SSAC Crap, though). I am considering one, and need opinions. Sorry to be a little off topic!

If you are going to buy a DRAG kit buy one from b16aef9...he gives you upgrades at no extra charge...I bought one from him myself...it's a great kit to start with.

They are basic alright for beginner turbo kits. If you plan to do it right, buy a peakboost or full-race kit.

you can definitely make 400+ with the drag turbo kit. I have one on my B18C1 and with Jason Herrera (St00pid) tickling the keys, he was able to get out 415whp on race gas. He did tell me that the most that he made on a drag kit was 416 whp and that was on a B16. So I don't think that 400whp is out of the question, just make sure that you have at least a 3in exhaust

i have made 343whp...so far...around 17psi...but some weird motor problems....

since then have been fixed

i'm only running 12psi right now and it feels alot stronger.....back to the dyno soon to finish tuning

i'm pretty sure i can easliy get 400whp

last time on the dyno the cam gears were not even touched yet...and it made all that power by 6700rpm...we stopped their because of some gay ****

back to the dyno

i'll post results...ASAP

sleeved 2.0 gsr motor...fully built
