Looking to get a roll cage fab'd and dont feel like spending the big bucks some of these guys charge (cusco etc)

would much rather support a up and coming fabricator and get a nice one-off piece.
its for an '00 Si but for a template any 96-00 civic coupe or hatch would work.

looking for just a 4-pt. with a crosss member bar to mount my harness.

Full-Race sells a weld in kit that would work well. Also, I think there was a guy on here by the name of Joes Type-S (something along those lines, not sure exactly what it was) from Buffalo that made 4 point bolt in cages that a lot of people on here liked. One of the Buffalo guys probably knows his username.

If you want to go completely custom, let me know. Theres a shop off of Elmgrove that builds full tube chassis 6-second cars that could easily handle making a cage.

I think a couple of the cars at the meet in the fall had the bolt in cage from the guy in Buffalo (I believe it was a red EG). Definitely the way to go if you don't want to go all out putting in a 10-point. Toda Party or someone like that probably knows the contact info for the guy that makes them. I just remembered Slammed_93_hatch runs one of them too. He's in the Road Race/Autocross forum all the time.

Why would he go to Michigan for a rollcage? We're in Rochester NY and if he wants a custom cage there is a shop that is fully capable of handling this without having to travel hundreds of miles.

 

well dave this guy gets customers from around the country.you ever seen speedvision???? seen some of the SRT4s and vipers hes done cages in quite a few of those cars. and his price is probably more reasonable than alot of the main stream shops. thats why. you ever look at a map or go racing out of NY maybe u should get out more.

 

Umm yeah I do. The shop I recommended him also has cars trailered from around the US and Canada and built there. And its a hell of a lot closer.
