Momo Hub w/ NRG QR and Spoon Wheel - anyone have this setup?
I have a 2000 civic and I have this setup i'm trying to put into the car but i'm having trouble connecting and hooking up the horn, no wiring problems, but getting the horn to stay sturdy on the wheel. If anyone has this setup or have any suggestions please post up. i originally posted this up in the 92-00 civic forum and i'm trying in here to see what other responses i could get

its a metal plate that comes with the hub when you buy it. It makes the horn button stay in place. If you dont have too bad
. You could probably buy one at Pep Boys or something.

I have the metal plate that comes w/ the hub, but it holds the horn button in fine, but it doesn't fit between the spoon wheel and the nrg qr, that's the problem i'm having.

You still need to use the aluminum piece that holds the horn button but in order to do that you'll need to make the inner diameter of the NRG hub a little bigger. I had the same problem.

I bought a carbide bit and made the hole inside about 1/16" bigger.

see i was going to try to modify the little metal ring that comes with the momo hub, i was afraid of cutting down the nrg hub because i think it's spring activated and i didn't want to mess it up. but if it works with only 1/16" being cut, i guess i could try
thanks for the info...btw hot f-ing car, your wheel setup looks good i can't wait to have mine on

Use the copper plate from an old flashlight, solder the hot horn wire to the plate. Ground it to one of the screw holes near the hub, make sure that it touches the back of the hub, and call it a day. It's not too hard, you just have to understand the concept.
the metal plate that came from momo fits fine between the spoon wheel and the nrg hub? no modification at all?

I just lock mine in the trunk or have it in my bag. Don't want to let others know how easy is it to pop-off and on
