Default problems with the gs-r :(

My gs-r powered eg is giving me some trouble. I've said this before but i'll say it again. So i start my car let warm up for about 2-3 minutes then begin to drive. As im driving i look at my gauge and it alittle below mid point on hot and cold, which is fine. But then driving for about 10 minutes after the car warmed up ( 40 mph 4th gear ) it will just shut off. So i've told people about it and about 7 out of 10 say it could be the coil or ignitor. which do you think? A autoparts store says once a ignitor is gone it wont start. So maybe coil? Well if anyone can help me, thanks.

I would replace the ignitor. It will start sometimes and then die under higher spark applications. just my experience but i would replace the ignitor.

This may be a long shot. My friends 98 accord did the same thing. I chased everything fo ra month trying to figure it out. It turned out to be hte damn key in the ignition. The cars vibration would make it shake just enough to think that someone was turning it off . If not I would have to agree with slow azz it does sound like an igniter.

I had something similar, old d16z6. Driving on the freeway at 70 to 80, and it would stubble almost shut off point, and gasing it didn't help(only happen like once in a while). Then found out it was the iginiter, forgot how i pinpointed it. But the iginiter is expensive, make sure it's that before u change it.
