questions about a 86 accord
hey guys heared this acord is carberuated. needed to know what motors BOLT in AND the trans bolts up.
it overheated, and i know that if we can do a manifold swap on a newer motor it might be easier. will any of the newer motors bolt up and accept the card'd manifold so that we can keep it simple?

A20, BS, and BT are all the blocks that bolt in. There are no other motors that bolt in except the ACCORD B20a from japan, but you will need the transmission with it. I wouldn't bother with getting a A20 block from japan since they are so abundant here and can roll 300,000 miles with no problem as long as they are taken care of.
Any (86-89) motor will go in it...fuel injected or carbed...may need a lil work, but they will... For the motors from Japan that will go in Cars like this and Mine is the B20Z i think... I know that it uses the stock mounts and tranny...its just a matter of finding one and gettin it in your car
The JDM B20 is a DOHC motor
