I just both 17 inch volks racing ce28 with 215/40/17 potenza tires with an offset of +50.Do you guys think it gonna rub or fit the car?

i can't put them on cause my car is in storage for winter.

 

Might rub, might not. You'll have a better chance to avoid rubbing by getting 205/40-17. 205/40 is also exactly the same outer diameter as the stock tires, so there will be no change in speedometer or odometer accuracy.

In my experience, you have a significant chance of rubbing any time you increase the tread width by 20 mm or more AND choose a tire with a larger outer diameter. Just do one or the other (like with the 205/40-17) without going crazy, and you're unlikely to rub.

 

I have seen people run DC5 ITR wheels on their R's and they fit fine. I have a set for my rsx and I have to run a 5mm spacer in the back. The tires are the stock rsx size also wich if im not mistaken are 215-45-17. Hope this helps.
