Default Code 9 after dizzy swap...

After about a month of monkying around with my obd0-obd1 conversion...today I finally got my car to start. I used a dizzy king dizzy, and have a hasport engine harness on my b16. I am getting a code 9 for cylinder position. I have switched the 2 wires back around on the dizzy but that does not cure the problem. Car runs but will barely idle and barely rev. Only other thing I can think of is to maybe take the dizzy back off and rotate the wheel thing 180 degress? What do you guys suggest?

dood did you do what I told you to? Trace wires back and will tell you what they are then use diagrams to tell you where they need to go. It is that easy dood!

I HAVE traced back the wires, the new hasport orange, and white wires are in pins b10 and b12 for crank sensor. c1 is orange, c2 is white, c3 is orange/blue, c4 is white/blue. I have color matched them and switched them every way possible, at the dizzy plug. It started a few times last night on me but was still getting code 9. Now it wont start and the toggle switch I have for the ecu codes isnt throwing anything at all even if I switch the wires or leave one out. So does anyone think taking off the dizzy and rotating the wheel 180 degrees would help?

according to dizzy king, the wire colors and functions are:

white- tdc
peach- tdc
white/blue- cylinder sensor
peach/blue- cylinder sensor
blue/yellow- crank sensor
peach/blue- crank sensor
yellow green- ignitor signal

Just a suggestion, but have you rechecked the cam timing? If the cams are out of time it will throw a code nine sometimes, Go back to your basics when all else fails

you can't rotate the 'wheel' on the distributor. it only goes on one way due to the 'key' being offset.

ok, here is what I want you to try. I have gone through your pin designations and matched them up with what wire colors are on an obd0 crx ecu and here is what I have:

Crexer wire--------------------Dizzy king wire

peach-------------yellow/green (you already did)
white/blue-------white/blue
orange/blue-----peach/blue
orange(c1)-------blue
white(c2)---------blue/yellow
white(b12)-------peach
orange(b10)------white

this should work, I noticed you said you color matched everything and that is probably where you went wrong. Give this a shot and let me know.

Aight that wiring worked, wired it up, installed ctr cam, set timing it runs with no codes. Exhaust is spitting out raw gas and it barely revs. 40 psi fuel pressure, new ngk plugs. Correct firing order. Why is it acting awful?

let you knwo that the dizzy will only go in the cam shaft in one way because of the grooves on the cam shaft end and the dizzy part
