You can't. You either use stiff springs, bottom out, or keep the car at a reasonable height.

Depends. What is the suspension setup? What dampers, what spring rates, and what upper mounts are being used?

The measure of the hardness or the surface resistivity of a material is durometer.

You might want to look into something like a Tein Basic or Tein SS setup. They don't really go that low, but they offer a comfortable ride. You're going to have to make a trade-off with height vs. ride quality.

Keep in mind that ride quality is very subjective. I daily drive my car on 600 lbs-in springs and I enjoy it. Most other people complain that springs this stiff are unstreetable. What you really need to do is find a couple of buddies nearby with similar-weighted cars and modified suspensions, and ask them for a ride to see what different setups feel like to you.

Those sprint extreme springs have a 3" drop and they ride pretty good..I think it's due to the progressive rates..

Whatever you do, dont go to Dave Hickman. He has his shop in Las Vegas now, avoid at all costs. DH-Racing is the business name.

One of the many threads you can find on him.

Unfortunately, I have personal experience in the matter as well, you can read the thread yourself for more info.
