My car is converted to obd1 i have a d16a in it...car is already wired to run a 4 wire o2 sensor i just need to plug it in..except..there are more than 4 wires im seeing here..My 12v source is from the battery, I have 4 wires coming from the harness (purple, orange, black, grey) And I have another white wire coming from the harness..im very confused here...any help appreciated thanks!

 

the 4 wires are grey signal, yellow 12v+, brown heater, and purple is ground

the white is for a Knock if you had it

ok so..problem 2..i wired up the sensor and started it up and my cel didnt go away...so i probed the splices with a voltmeter and there was no voltage on any..so i followed to the pruple yellow grey and brown wires to my ecu..and they seem to be hooked up fine..but no voltage from them..BTW..when i jump my ecu to get my engine codes the cel does not blink..this means i have a bad chip right? could this be the reason for my wires being dead?
