Are Koyo radiator too big???
I had an universal LS radiator in my 89 HF and it was too tall for my hood. So I bought the KOYO radiator on ebay but it was almost the same size, just a little skinnier. Did anybody have any problem with KOYO radiator being too tall? It really sucks when I see the gap between the hood and the bumper.

I had problems with mine cause of the full face bars made it sit higher and back a little from the stock position. But its in there not perfect and the hood closes with no problems.
I just replaced mine with a Koyo rad, not the alumin. one it was a regular stock one keeping things close to stock as possible. anyway it did fit in my CRX. But the only thing that bugged me is that the little brackets the small black ones that hold the radiator on the right hand side (if your standing in front of the car the little brachet didnt line up to hold it on top. (Not a big issue and it doesnt effect anything at all.
Yeah, the hood does close but not perfect. I was thinking that the KOYO radiator would be the actual CRX radiator size, which I think it was about 1/4 smaller than what I got.

Whoa, we must think alike, because I did the same exact thing with fabricating mounts and the rubber grommet that you did without even seeing this picture.
