it doesnt matter what your have and how your try to protect it, if they want it bad enough they'll get it, weather its in your garrage your a parking lot. clubs and nothing work, the only way to stop it is if you can catch them and shoot them, just bam right there go *** yourself, its just one less worthless bitch roaming the streets.

I hear this same stupid *** comment every time in a stolen or car alarm thread. Its a dumb thing to say. How bad are they really going to want your dime a dozen Honda when there are 50 more to choose from in the same parking lot?
When they see an alarm or other antitheft devices they usually skip the car. Why spend the extra time ******* with all that **** when they can ****** the other Rice Rocket two cars over with no alarm?

It is not a dumb thing to say when it is true. If a person really wants your car bad enough they will have it. Doesn't mean you should keep your doors unlocked, windows rolled down, and only have a factory alarm. And his car was not a "dime a dozen Honda", I believe he said his rims/tires, cd player, amps, etc got stolen.

the point i was making is to make it as hard as possible to take it. granted yes they can simply tow it if they really want. but why make it that easy? hide the alarm in a hard to get to place that would require taking off many panels, screws ect.. , hide alarm wires within the stock wiring so no one can tell the difference, removable steering wheel with lock ( nrg for example ) take the ecu with you, clutch lock, make sure the alarm has remote lock and unlocking and disable the door locks so no one can jimmy them open. those are just a few things. yes its a haslle but when they see all that it will make MOST go look for something easier. save a few of our crews cars quite a bit of times

When I still lived in Washington I can safely say that I NEVER (NEVER ****** EVER) brought my CRX to any mall except Bellevue Square. Malls in Washington (especially the farther you head south ie Southcenter Mall, Sea-Tac, Tacoma) are just cess pools for jackers.
I got my (friend's) car stolen on Jan 5th. I just got it back today. Flippin idiots only stole the Tach, the CD player, steering wheel and the ash tray. No joke, the ash tray. Weird thing is, the mount for the tach is still there, so they actually broke the thing taking it off. The CD player is one of those annoying ones with the security systems. It has to have a code before it will work for anyone. The thief forgot to ask me for the code. They took the steering wheel but not the hub adaptor. The ash tray, it was nice to store nuts and bolts in, but they left all the nuts, bolts, fuses, and other random stuff on my passenger's seat anyway... They ran it out of gas and cut 'FU-Q' into the dashboard with a mini-utility knife. They left a bunch of wierd stuff in there. It looks like they took it christmas shopping or something. I got a little baby-blue coat and a bag with some drug paraphenilia in it(At least, that's what I think it was.) I had an extra wheel from my 240SX in the back, that was still there. I had a brand new set of lug nuts sitting in the back seat, they were still there. There is a nice, clean set of Si seats that are still there. I just don't get it. GET A JOB YOU FREAKIN ******S! (not you, the theives)
P.S. I am babysitting this car for my best friend who is serving in Iraq. So, that's what that meant. I told him it was stolen and he just said "Eh, I wanted a fifth gen hatch anyway." Traitor...
