vtec and other problems i want to know..

PR3 when does vtec change over or engages..

Have hard time braking after one good run to 80 mph..I wonder why is it because the LS/vtec is too heavy..
Anyone on H-T have ITR suspension on an EF..

I think the crossover changes throughout generations( not to sure). My PR3 hits at 4900 and I have a first gen b16. My buddy has the same set up and his crosses at 5200 so I don't know. Mine isn't chipped either.

On my friends car going by the stock tach it kicks in at about 5900rpm..Going buy an autometer tach it kicks in at about 4700-4800rpm..This is with a stock pre obd pr3..If you have the obd1 pr3 it's more like 5200rpm..
