Hey, I desperately need to know the torque specs of the head bolts and the bolts inside the head, like the cam journal bolts. I am putting on a new head and want to be sure it works! before you use do this job, make sure you get a helms manual. that will give you all the specs and the direction you need to go in to tighten the head bolts. you need to follow a pattern and torque the head bolts twice before or you may warp the head. second, the bolts on those heads are torque to yeild bolts. they will be stretched out and should be replaced when you take the old ones out. they will not be able to be torqued the same after you take them out. that doesn't mean you can't reuse them, but they may not be accurately torqued.
