looks like the valvoline 80w90 non synthetic and CRX Trans-X is the budget combo of choice for ATS lsd users!

Motul PA90 is not for LSD equipped transaxles. It's for a conventional LSD.

Correct.

I'm thinking that it's meant for a RWD style diff equipped w/ a clutch type LSD. This doesn't have to lubricate tranny gears and the LSD like a transaxle would.

I used only ATS oil on my ATS LSD. I've tried Redline and Kazz and the ATS LSD was clicking. Use what is made for the ATS LSD to get the full potential.

75w and 80w is too thick. I asked some honda workers and they said it is too thick and will mess up your transmission. I actually put a quart of the 80w in mine(luckily i had to go get some more or my transmission would have been expletive).

haha, do you see the ats gear oil that I posted?

I'm using an ATS LSD - and guess what they recommend... that fluid.

Look at the can - what does it say?

GL-5 80w90

So who knows more about the ATS clutch type LSD? Honda or ATS?

I'm going with the mfr of the lsd on this one... and guess what, it works like a charm (changed my tranny fluid a while back).

but i remember using that trans-x **** a while back when i had mt ITR trans with ATS 3-4-5. i used 1 tube of trans X and the rest honda MTF. i never had any grinds, and after 15k or so, the fluid was still golden when i changed it.
