Ok I have a 89 crx with a zc swap im interested in getting an aftermarket header.... maybe DC or another brand Which one do I need? will the "88-91" header fit? or do i need something different...

Also is it true that DC headers crack alot? if so what is a better brand?

I searched and found nothing on zc headers

dohc zc or sohc zc?

 

if it is the dohc zc you will need to port the header a little bit, because it wont match up correctly, you just take the gasket, hold it up to the header and you will see how far off it is, grind away the parts you dont need and your done

 

I like megan racing personally over dc sport..Can be had for ($120 off ebay)half the price of dc sport and they're full stainless..There was an article I saw about megan racing vs. DC sport..And it persuaded me to buy the megan..But yeah get the header made for vehicele specific in this case (88-91 civic/crx si 1.6 sohc..)

 

depends on how much u want to spen?rage makes a awsome header.any crx si single cam header will work with a lil porting.

 

Ok it is SOHC I wish it wasnt though... so does this still mean it will have to be ported? or will it be a good fit? or... does it depend on which one i get?
