I know it has been covered and I have searched and read most of the posts. But here is the deal. 1988 CRX SI no spark at all. So I have gone through all the grounds and there all good, checked all the wires going to the distrubitor. All the fuses under the hood and on the fuse box are in good shape!!! I pulled the cap and crank it over and no spark is coming from the coil. But out of nowhere it gets spark. As soon as I go to move it, it dies and then wont start again. So i pulled the two black relays or whatever on the fusebox under the dash and replaced them with some from a working CRX Nothing. So then I changed the whole distrubitor from a working CRX and nothing. What do I do now. I cant get it to start and who can explain it starting for like 10 mins then dying. Where is the main relay at on these cars. How do I check it. Please anything that I can check will help. Thanks everyone!!!

 

well search for checking the relays i cant recall right off the top of my head but anyway my guess is theres a short in the wires the go to the dizzy, use a multi meter to check those check for continuity both between the wire at the dizzy and ecu but also that wire to ground

i sure hope I dont have a short within the the wires. Is there any tricks or ideas that I can do to get this thing running!!!!
