HID questions??

HID questions??
I have a 2000 civic si. and i'm planning to buy a HID kit. but i'm confused with all these terms. 5000k, 6000k....H1, H4, 9006 what do these terms mean? and is promax a good quality kit?

refer to a kelvin temperature chart for the 4000k, 5000k, etc. Em1 uses H4 blubs. never heard of promax, that a plug and play kit?

I am also looking into going HID and i had no idea what was required etc and what all the terms meant but i checked out this website
