00 suspension help ??

Default 00 suspension help ??

first i lowered my car with some tsudo coilovers to about 3" now i want to raise it back up and also my shock are going out so i just ordered some kyb gr2 shocks and some springs from ebay but now the problem is that those springs dont fit the shock. so my only choice is to buy new springs but wat would be better name brand springs or coilovers i already have teh shocks and camber kit. here is a pic of it

i did use one it is not that it is how it is seated on teh shock

Looks like you have the spring installed upside down.

I bet those KYBs are gonna blow just as quickly for 2 reasons though:

1) theyre basically OEM replacement, not a performance shock
2) They arent supposed to handle a 3" drop, I doubt theres any travel left on that suspension

...well.. it will travel, but it will wear out quickly, and plus, KYB does not cover warranties for their shocks when cars are lowered more than 2 or 2 and a half inches from OEM specs.
If the shocks goes bad, can't replace it!!!

If those are cheap ebay springs it may be how they were manufactured. I would throw them in the garbage and get some Eibachs they won't blow those GR2's.

1 there not upside down
2 yea i know that these struts arent the best i just need some thing to get it moving for now this summer i am trying to get something better maybe some tien ss with pillow ball mounts but for now i guess i just get some new springs thanks for the help reason i got this set up was kus it was low budget for now thanks for the help

i found out that the springs are st springs and also i have a pic of wat it looks like tha other way

also do i need to replace the dust boot ?
