Default GS-R manifold on a Type-SH?

Hey everyone, I searched but with no luck...

Would the intake manifold and throttle body from an 1996 Integra GS-R ( B18C ) bolt-up to an H22A4 with ATTS?

Why? 2 totally different engines.H-series, B-series. I highly doubt it. Different ports locations, ect. Dont waste your time

the designs in no way are similar. and why would you want to modify the gsr to fit. by the time you are done spending money might as well get a manifold made for the sh.

the gsr manifold doesnt like fitting very easily onto other b series what makes you think it will fit an h.

the manifold was designed for a smaller displacement motor, so less air flows through them. just buy a aftermarket h22 manifold and throttle.

Sounds like a buddy of yours is retarded.

You'd get better flow with a shitass DC sports header, and it'd be cheaper.

why do people constantly belittle others on here. if someone says something you don't like, ignore them.

No intake manifold will fit straight to an h22 block except for h22 intakes...SHs fit on base models; base models fit on SHs

why would you do that? if you couldn't get an intake to fit it, i'd understand using a gsr intake manifold.

would you try to put an adapter plate on your h22 block so that you could fit a gsr valve cover on it?

First of all, you all need to QUIT PUTTING WORDS INTO MY MOUTH. I never said that I was planning to try and install a GS-R manifold on my car, nor do I even have one laying around. I was just curious because I had read some other threads involving the Type-R throttle body.

The Phil you need to quit jumping to conclusions. You're statement that I was trying to cram something on that wouldn't fit WAS AN ASSUMPTION on your part, backed by no evidence. Making comments based on baseless assumptions rather than what you know to be true is one of the dumbest things you can do, so therefore you seem more like the " moron ".

Thanks for the answer.

dood it's an aftermarket intake manifold. it's a manifold that i haven't seen, but could flow better than any of the available options for that particular build, etc.

there was obviously a reason to use the adapter plate and to port match it, and if the results came out good, who cares?

use the parts that work. sometimes working requires some more work to make it work.

it's not like he fab'd up a bunch of **** to put a stock GSR IM on. that would be dumb

because it sucks teh *****<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 1GPlusSH &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">why would you do that? if you couldn't get an intake to fit it, i'd understand using a gsr intake manifold.

if the gsr valve cover allowed me to flow a lot more air then hell yes i would

i dont think you guys see the difference in what john d is saying and what the poster asked.....the stock gsr manifold would be a waste of time and probably would never fit, it angles downward....you would have to change a lot of crap...

however, the victor x is a humongous air flowing monster, and they dont make anything like it for the h series, therefore, making and porting an adapter to get it to work IS a feasable plan..

firstly, when you want the possesive form of this word, you spell it as follows: THEIR
secondly, im not quite sure what simular means, but a gsr manifold and an h22 manifold are about as similar as popeye the sailor man and andy dick

I'm making 320whp @12psi on a mustage dyno with the stock h22 manifold and will be making 400 or more when i up the boost.

this is with a little 60 trim to4e/ .63ar stage 3 T3 turbine turbo by the way.
