I'm going to assume that collector started out as a mini-me style? The collector is one of the factors that make ramhorns good.

But for the price of materials, I'd rock it on a beater sohc.

 

the head flange looks cheesy, but the rest isnt bad really. The collector looks like it was done very cleanly.

 

Did you make this unit yourself? Its really not that bad, except the collector looks too short. I don't know how much that will actually cost power, but I would say that is its only real weakness. I can't tell about the transition right at the turbo flange 100%, I can't see the transition from the runners to the inside of the turbo flange. The inside part of the collector looks ok though, other than the angle being too severe, back to that shortness thing. Why is the head flange cut? The runners are long enough to not be able to warp it..

nah that isnt anything i ever made, lol, jus came across it and it just looks ******* odd. collector where it meets the flange has that odd swerve to it, w.e tho, haha just wanted to post it up

It doesn't look that bad.

I'd rock that **** any day. The bends look smooth, the welds look decent. I bet it actually performs pretty good. Way better than a log mani anyways.

the first manifold posted is actually pretty good. I mean the attention to the collector is very nice. Granted its not the optimal merge collector angle, but nonetheless....the manifold looks clean and they didn't cheat any cuts. Welds look half decent. IDK wtf you guys are talking about lol. head flange looks RUF.

 

jus the collector merge looks odd, and the flange yes. i did not say it is a bad design, just looks strange to my eye, that is all. this isnt to much of a bash. but whatever, i guess its who reads it takes it by
