Default HELP PLEASE 96 civic HB cx front panel

i need to take off the front of the car and straighten it because i wrecked
the front is pushed back about a half a foot. i need to put in a new radiator.
im a newbie to cars and i undid all the screws, but the front wont come off it looks like its been welded onto the quarterpanels

i need help if u guys have any advice on how to take it off and/or put in a new radiotor i would appreciate it

the bumper? or the radiator support? the radiator support is spot welded.

the radiator support.. ya and it does look like it is spot welded.. how would i take the support and whatever else off so i can straighten the bending in it in order to drop a new radiator in it

you'll have to drill out the spot welds, then have the new radiator support welded in.

well an electric one might be better then a battery one, and a nice sharp bit would help too. good luck

No offense, but if you have to ask you probably shouldn't be doing the body work, at least not without some experienced help.

If it's been pushed back that far there's a good chance you have frame damage too.

thx man, so when u drill down through the welded spots, the disconnect.. i mean, do u stop drilling when u come through both sheets?

haha yea dude, when else would you stop? I think i am gonna agree with lifeofbean. You should try to get someone to help that knows what they are doing so you can see how it is done. That is how everyone starts, or they figure it out themselves, but bodywork isn't something that you wanna be messing around with.

hi understand that, the whole reason i made an account on this website is because i dont know anyone who could show me.. and im only 17 plus we'r kinda poor so unless i do it myself i wont even hav a car to take to college.. so instead of telling me how dumb i am for trying it myself id appreciate some helpful advice
