I have a choice of gettin a brand new Megan racing cat back or a used magnaflow cat back for about the same price..i've heard good and bad about megan just like with any other brand. I have used megan springs and other stuff before just nothing motor/exhuast wise.
Magnaflow, i really havent heard that much about either. I know magnaflow started out mostly on trucks, hot rods, and etc..so if you have the choice of a new megan racing or a used magnaflow, what would you do?

Right now my plan is to get a Megan racing header bc of the price unless i find a nicer one for a little bit more

 

how old is the magnaflow?

 

heres the deal on the magna flow, he got it used himself . it was on the car for like 6 months when he got it..hes had it on his car for a bout 5-6 months

 

then i would go with the megan. mufflers rot out over time, and if he wasn't the first to use it, there's no telling how old it is.

 

I just recently installed a Magnaflow Catback on my 00 si. It has a great sound and i love it.. I'd go with the magnaflow..

 

Magnaflow if the price he gives you is good and its not too rusty

I wouldn't get neither. Both sound like total ****. Kteller with ES oval, or magnaflow (not the fart can).
