You have a cable driven cluster by the sounds of it. You need to find an elecrtonic vss with gearing to fit into your gearbox that you can then connect to the back of your cluster. You should be able to find one from somewhere, but if you can't find one, I have one here taht I'd swap you for postage.

Let me get this straight. Your old box had a cable driven cluster and the cluster is still in your car? And the new box you have, has an electronic vss? If that's the case, take your old cable connector out of the box that you used to have in, and replace it. The one I have is the electronic one so that wouldn't be any good for you if I get you correctly.

if its a cluster with a cable mount obviously mounted on the back, and you use a cable with a cable vss, it wil work. you cannot convert cable clusters to electronic.
