89 civic Codes won't clear!

Default 89 civic Codes won't clear!
I have pulled the hazard fuse for 2 hours and the codes won't clear whats up with this!There are no active codes At the moment that I am awear of, Any one got a cure!The instructions say to clear the codes the hazard fuse needs to be out for 10 seconds.
