Default kph -mph conversion on jdm dash

ok, i remember some english dude on here saying that he bought a jdm cluster for his ef and that he was able to buy a cover plate for the tach which converted his kph to mph and gave up to a 160 mph reading. is there any truth to this?
does anybody in the US or UK know if this conversion cover actually exists, and where can i get one??
