yea imma end up takin the oil pan off tom and pushin it out.. we even tried taking off the timing belt case because it kind of secures it in there, but theres no way to get a firm grib on it..

Yea, they have magnets specifically to go into little places, any auto store.

It pulls rite out, when i did my timing belt i took it off. that thing you see around it i belive is the timing belt cover. The thing pulls straight out and yes i have a d16y8 so it can be done. There is a little oring on it and that is all. Just pull on it and dont worry about breaking.

will, it go down any further, if it wont just get a drywall screw and thread it in and pull it out. You can get then in 1", 2" and 3" lengths.

This is what I would do. How did you break it? The dipstick is pretty flimsy, it should be able to bend pretty far before it breaks..

i think just the plastic handle on the metal broke off. i would get a magnet though and stick it in there. and if you hit a bend before you get it, then use a magnet and string.

i dont think a magnet will work because theres still plastic from the handle on top of it.. it broke right at the bottom of the handle so when u look at it the top of it is still orange..
