H22a4 spec S pistons
I have a h22a4 2001 block with 2-3k on it. I got it from Honda about a yr ago. I am going to slap it onto a head I got. I am going n/a. if i would get type s std pistons can i use my rods? I heard the stock rods are good for over 400hp and i am only look at like 220-230whp so about 270 crank. let me know. thanks
Your rods should be fine if you are going to go all motor. If you are planing on reving it to the moon then you may want to invenst in some forged rods.
I am going to be pushing about 220-230whp and revving to between 8-8500rpm's. not all the time ofcoarse. Just on track weekends. Will the rods hold up ?
