Depending on what is broke i would bet its a final drive and not the lsd...
I have seen far more busted final drives than broken lsd's. As a matter of fact a thorsen is damn hard to bust..

As a mater of fact i have bought three " busted diff trans" off of people only to open them up and find and replace the final drive and they will return to the road..
Let me know if you need a final drive i have a local supplier here in TX

You're a freaking idiot.

First off, post in the right forum. Just cause it's an ITR LSD doesn't mean ITR people know crap about them.

2nd. Take it someone that actually KNOWS what they're doing, like a TRANNY SHOP before you make stupid assumptions about what's wrong and making idiotic posts.

3. If it's broken and you installed it under the impression it worked, take it back and raise hell with the person who raped you on it making them refund your money and compensation for the time to install it.

4. IF it is broken, which no one knows, buy another one. They're all over the ebay.

Chase, of all people, just buy it new for $350.00. No point of rebuilding an ITR LSD, in fact its unheard of.

The Honda Torsen axle is probably not what you'd want to pick for a drag car or for a much-improved race car. It's OK on a road course up to about 300 HP.

If you have a turbocharged drag car putting down 400 HP, you are going to break it.

Different technology, different capabilities, different customer base.

Yasu's multiplate axle will cost about $1300, versus less than $400 for a new OEM DC2 ITR LSD.

You're dead to me Joey

BTW, the tranny was just rebuilt, the FD is perfect. Now with the diff out, you can put an axle in each side and spin both in opposite directions by free hand.

On the topic of LSD's (and seeing as the question has been answered already)..

Can i get a few peoples DEFINATE knowledge of what a standard ITR LSD should do when..

Jacked up in the middle (ie both wheels off the ground)
a) spin a wheel in Neutral
b) spin a wheel in gear

Just curious, as i get mixd answers, and they all come from people that dont have ITR LSD's.

Thanks in advance
