Default buddy club seat intall into my crx .pics.

put in my seat last night. made the side mount brackets, and bolted the sliders directly to the floor. ive seen these seats mounted with standard brackets and they sit really high, so i wanted to avoid this. im open to comments and yes i know the side mount is thin alluminum but the seat actually sits on the sliders, the side mounts simply keep it from moving side to side. the seat is very comfortable and very solidly mounted. to afordable high quality seats.

Very nice, i've been thinking about the same seats for my hatch, how hard was it to make the bracket?

i was looking for the same height because i love the stock seat position. the back is about the same as stock and i made the front a little higher because i like my buckets to have a little lean back in them, it takes away from effort while track driving.

one question..for those of us lacking any fabrication skills whatsoever, what are the options for installing aftermarket seats?

In fact, how do most people install, say, a recaro into their crx? Whats the process involved?

yeah, there are other options out there but expect to pay between 100-200 bucks for a complete bracket/slider/seat mount setup . i think mine cost about 40.oo for the slider and an hour of my time

Got any pics of how you did this before you put it in the car? I was trying to figure this out since sparco doesn't make sliders for the 88-91 hatch.

How do those seats fit you? How big of a guy are you? I've always liked those seats!

the left side had to be spaced up about 1/2 inch in the rear to sit level.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Quik89Si &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">How do those seats fit you? im about 5-10 145lbs, its the large seat and fits me pretty snug, so im assuming its really tight on larger people.
