How much is too much ATF ?

How much is too much ATF ?
This about 6th Gen ('99) 4-cyl 4-dr LX.
I understand that overfilling the ATF will result in foaming.
Just for information sake, what is the danger mark ? At what point it is better to drain some off ?

anything over the MAX mark/line is dangerious.
just use common sense, anything over max=overload
make sure you take the reading(from the dipstick) from a level ground, key off.
