just got back from vacation and tach is screwed
welp as the topic says i got back started the car and let the car warm up and took it on a spirited drive and the tach wont go over like 4300 rpms. it is a 1994 civic d16z6 and never had problems before. the gear goes all the way through to the end of it but the tach almost comes to a stop. wut to do?
You might have gotten a wire gremlin. (short) Don't know where. Try resetting your ECU first. If that doesn't work check the wires running to your distributor (tach lead is a blue wire, possibly with a white stripe).
