Default Center brake light

I have 99 accord EX sedan and my center brake light went out. now i need to install new light bulbs and i cant get the casing off the brake light. If anybody knows how to get it off please let me know. Any help would be great. Thanx.

I dunno if 99 is the same as my 92 but if you pop open the trunk and look up there where the center light is, there should be a connector with a bulb and thats how you take it out. I dont think you have to take out the housing but im not sure on 99 accord.

If your 99 is anything like my 94, look in your trunk, underneath your 3rd brake light. You should see studs sticking down out of your brake light, with probably 8mm nuts on them. I hope this helps, that is how you change it on a 94.

I guess i should read the question a little more closely, that is how you remove the light housing.
