Default 91 Accord Ex Cruise Control

I am trying to figure out why my cruise control doesn't work. The dash (push botton) lights up when pushed, but when I go to set my cruise it will not set. I am not sure where to start this process, any ideas?

Try holding the button for a few seconds b4 releasing it.......sometimes it won't engage with a quick tap.

you can try looking to make sure your cable for it is still in tact. search from the cruise control accluator (spelling?) to the pedal. also i know my button did need to be held down a bit longer sometimes now that i think about it.

More than likely the brake switch is out of adjustment(or the clutch switch if manual trans). While driving try pulling up under the brake pedal with your left foot and keeping light pressure on it, then push the set button. If the cruise works, then simply adjust the switch at the pedal.

Well I tried holding both the dash button and the steering wheel button for several seconds independantly and at the same time, but no good result. I will try the brake pedal next. Thanks
Where do I find the Acculator(spelling)?

Under your hood to start, look for your throttle cable, it'll be right below it.

It's located right behind your driver's side headlight. It's round and has a rubber boot going off the back. The cable coming from it should go straight back, through a hole in the firewall and connect to the top of your gas pedal.
