spun bearing d16y8

hey guys, a local person is selling a blown d16y8 from a 98 si, and has said that he believes a spun bearing is the culprit. just wondering if the head would still be usable for a mini-me swap?

as long as no metal made it up to the head you are fine. i would have it cleaned well and inspected atleast before installing it.
