Default 99 Accord rearview mirror removal

quick question about the rearview mirror on my car.. I got a brand new OEM mirror because mine had a crack in it.

I cant seem to figure out how to get the mirror off .. someone on the forum said something like "there is a release tap, squeeze it and pull up and your mirror and its free" ... well i dont know exactly what that means.. i cant seem to find anything to "squeeze"... i tried a few ways of getting it off but i dont want to mess with it anymore till i know exactly how to get it off, before i break the entire thing.

thanks!

Try sliding it up, I have an 02' and that's how mine comes off.

there's a magic tap you need to press and once you got it, the whole thing can slide right off

can't really tell you where exactly but if you look hard enough.
