Exhaust question
I have been noticing the past few mornings that on startup, my exhaust blows out a black watery substance onto my driveway. It only occurs in the morning on initial startup.
My assumption is that it's just blowing out an accumulation of moisture from overnight and that the black is just some carbon buildup mixed with the water. But since I know little in the way of mechanics, I would like to know if there's anything I should be worried about.

It did it all the time on my CRX with a mini me. Umm, I think it has to be tied to something wrong with the Fuel Injection system. It got to the point when it would rev up it would spit out ALOT of black carbon out onto my driveway and the exhaust tip would be blackened.

I could see the carbon being related to the fuel, but my real concern was the watery **** in the morning. If it's just moisture from overnight accumulating in the exhaust pipe, it's not a huge deal. If it could have been more than that, that's what I'd worry about.
I'd say that quite possibly the carbon buildup may be high ... the car may run richer than it should but I'm not positive of that.
