p28 auto in manual?

can i use a auto p28 in a manual car? or do i have to get it changed? thanks

Yes you can. It would be recommened if you used the correct ECU for the correct car, but yes, it will work.

Yeah you can but you are going to throw a CEL code(not sure which one)......I ran an auto P28 in my swapped civic with a B16a motor in it for a while until I got my proper P30 B16a ECU.

code 19 will show all the tiem, meaning problem with torque converter lock up solenoid. its only on the auto tranny. other than that no problem.

one more question. will my 96-00 Pro Cap MSD on a d15b, fit B series also?

I don't think D-series stuff are interchangable with B-series stuff... atleast most of them aren't...
