More JDM tranny question
So from previous discussions, it's fairly clear that there are no USDM tranny that one could take parts from to rebuild or change a JDM S1/J1. This might seem like a silly question, but would there be anything stopping one from using an early 92-93 GSR cable trannies?
From here http://tiiite.b16a.com/Bgears.htm looks like the ratios are almost exactly like that of the JDM S1. Plus if I am not mistaken, for those that don't want a buzzy 5th, you could use the USDM S1/YS1 from the same year LS/GS...
I am just totally off?
thanks,
