Track day
I was at the track and i raced a couple cars. The thing is our cars have lsd so i thought i was going to pull on every car from a launch. The cars i raced only had one tire working, but they still managed to pull on me Everytime at the begining and i would have to catch up later.
Im guessing i cant launch for ****, but does this happen to any of you guys? Are rsx's, integra's and civics suppose to pull from launch and then we catch up?
I launched at 4-5k and i would peel out before each run to make sure my tires were warmed up and i used Azenis at 20psi.
best runs were a couple 14.2's with 2.2 60ft's, so im sure i was doing at least something right. Is what im describing normal, or am i ******* up my launches too much. Should i be able to run faster 1/4 times?

Given equal drivers, tires, tire pressure, power and weight, the vehicle that does not have LSD will have a harder time finding traction than a vehicle with LSD.
With that being said, look at the above circumstances, ask yourself which of the above could contribute to the other car outlaunching you.
FYI, you shouldn't use the term "track day" when speaking about drag racing. Typically that term is used to describe HPDE's, club racing events, and open lapping days.

True, all because a car has lsd doesnt mean its going to win off the line. Stock for stock ITR's, if one has lsd the other doesnt, with equal drivers the one with lsd should get it.

BTW, there's an entire forum on h-t for Drag Racing, and you'll probably find more experience there to answer your question...

Im actually done with drag racing with the It-R. Now i kinda feel why the cars not made for drag racing. The only way I won any of the races was because of the crazy top end type R's have. I pulled on several Rsx type S's even tho they pulled on the launch. I dont see why Rsx guys think they can hang with us on the free way.
Im going to start moving on to track racing which seems ALOTTTTTTTTTTT more fun and challenging.

I own a RSX-S and my ITR... The RSX-S does have more torque from the bigger motor 2.0L that is why it pulls out in front of you the first two gears. The ITR has more top end and pulls harder in third (your fishing reel gear) than the RSX-s does. Plus the RSX is heavier. Have fun out there
