Did you find the cap? Cover your battery and intake (if not stock) and use engine brite or tire foam on the whole bay and then hose it out. Don't do it in your driveway if you can help it. Some people cover the dizzy but if it's in good condition you should be fine.

we use a degreaser at work. basicly 2 good things to have here are a pressure washer and a air compressor. cover the intake if its aftermarket. then i take the pressure washer, hose down the bay just enought to knock off the loose dirt, spray the cleaner we have ( you can use simple green ) then spray it all off with the pressure washer. after thats done, use the air compressor to blow out the water from EVERYWHERE. then i lace the bay with some dressing, blow that off, rub it in with a rag and she looks brand new.

btw, just for reffrence thats what we do to all brand new and used cars down at our dealership day in and day out. did my car a few times!
