Default Omni suspension

I just ordered the omni full coilovers and wanted to know how hard it will be to install. I also heard that the bolts break real easy. Is that true?

possible to install and level in 2 hours. use the right tools and lube before touching fasteners, bolts will not break unless they are really rusted or seized.

The bolts on the rear LCA are known to snap. But it all depends on the condition of you car.

Yea the bolts on my rear LCA snapped on both sides, so a couple hours project turned into a three day project. But my car had 224,xxx miles on the body so that was kind of expected. But its a snap to install, shouldnt take no longer than a 2-3 hours.

Real easy. Just did mine on 99 ex model which is the same as yours, i believe. Just make sure to get an alignment afterwards. Also, you might need a camber kit that can cost up to 500 bucks to make tires wear evenly. GL!

also, you can do you rear camber correction for about $5 the bolts that hold the upper control arm(UCA), go to a hardware store, find the same dia. and thread pitch bolt, slightly longer, 10-15 washers depending on hwo bad the camber is and place the washers between the uca and frame, gets to be tricky but worth the $5, and you can run aftermarket lca's which are shorter than stock so it brings the bottom of the tire toward the chassis

i did mine in my garage. easy work, just nuts and bolts nothing to tech. but the hardest part was the bolts. snapped a few, went to honda to get replacements and the guy gave me some mopar like rust bust stuff. he calimed it was the best stuff out there. so i ussed it on all my other bolts before trying to bust em and it seemed to work well.

Love my Omni's... I didn't really have much of a problem putting them on.... Just make sure you preload them correctly. The only one problem that got me completely stumped is when I tried adjusting them... One of the coilovers adjuster wouldn't spin... I found out that it was dirty and the dirt was in the threads. So just clean them good if you ever find it hard to spin the bottom to adjust the height.

the only rear camber kit that i know of that is close to 500 is the CUSCO rear upper adjustable control arm... but even that is only about 400...i know who makes it...don't pay for it...

make sure you use the height adjusters for height, and the preload adjusters for preload. some moron i got my omnis from used the preload to adjust ride height, and when the shocks were out of the car and unloaded the spring was loose! also make sure you take a ruler and match the ride height side to side so its even. It took me and a friend maybe two hours or less, that was after a bad case of the munchees and starting at 12am. Air tools work great, make sure you put pb blaster or some other rust penatrant (PB's my favorite) and let it soak. Good luck, cause once they're in your car will handle like its on rails!

wait by level you mean getting the car to finally sit level? measure it all before it goes on, its actually really easy to get it leveled first shot, saving a ton of time. we set it once, and that was that.
