Default what welder to buy?

well, i think its finally time to buy a welder and start learning how to weld and fabricate things. this will also help me get into the bio-engineering firm at work.

im mainly looking into building manifolds, intercooler pipes, and what not. so what would you guys suggest?

Miller 200DX....it's what I plan on buying here shortly.

Does AC/DC and has the most options out of their TIG lineup...also has enough power to do 3/8" thick aluminum. Watercooled torches = Lots of power = Square wave =

Its near 2500 all setup, but Im looking around.

Dynasty 200DX? That's what I'll be going with sometime during the summer once I'm co-oping and have money again.

Running it on 110/220 and the shoulder strap = take it over to a friends house, tack **** up on the car thats more than likely apart and undriveable in their garage, bring everything home and weld it up when I have more time.
