well yeah...i can't decide which motor to get for my ek hatch...usually obI b18c1's go for 3300, but i found one for 2900....and i found a obdII b18c1 off a 99 gsr (complete changeover) for $2400...which one is better for the value? obdi or II????? which motor would u choose??

 

OBD2. Get a 99SI harness, and wire up the IAB's.

OBD I can be chipped easily. OBD2 is a bitch. But if you're trying to be legal, OBD2 is the only way to go. You could get an OBD1 ecu and adapter when necessary.
