Default I just got a apex V-tec controller

I have a question for anybody? I got a apex V-tec contoller and waz wondering if i could install it with out a harness?

you probably could if you wanted to do things halfass and have it break in a month and have to redo it...so spend the extra 30 minutes and 10 dollars and do it right

you plan on hooking it up with shoelaces or what?

You can splice the wires and then solder them together to make sure they don't get loose. I did mine like that and I have never had a problem.

if you're going to use it for it's intended purpose then pick up a harness and save yourself some headaches in the future.
If you're going to use it for what most of us agree it's good for (paperweight) then you don't need one.
