I have a b16 that I intalled a type r intake manifold but the i'm using the type r fuel rail and injectors so the cars rund a little rich on fuel. I'm guessing its because of the satuarated injecters. I need to run ObdO peak and hold injectors but I don't know what fuel rail to use that will let me run Peak and hold injectors.


Any Suggestion.???????

 

If you have the itr inj, cut off the inj box, and merge all 5 wires

 

you can use the type r fuel rail with the stock injectors you dont need a special rail

 

I tried using the 0bd0 but the injectors leaked fuel. I don't know why it was I think the injectors are shorter than the type r ones.

 

i have the itr intake mani on my b16 and i use the stock b16 fuel rail b/c i lost the itr one. no probs here. but i have a GE rail that i will use in the future.

 

I am running a skunk2 manifold (same fuel rail mounting as the R) with a GSR fuel rail (should be basically the same as R's rail) with my stock obd 0 fuel injectors. The d15b2 I orginally had, used plastic spacers to space out the fuel rail, but they aren't used with my Skunk manifold. I had some leaks aswell when I first started it up. The problem was when I reinstalled the injectors into the fuel rail, the upper O-rings on the injectors torn/splitted. The solution is to go to advanced auto or autozone or where ever and get four fuel injector o-ring kit and replace all the o-rings on each injector. Also remember to add a small dab of grease on the o-rings so they dont get torn up when installing.
